    Ross rifle sling

Which type of slings were used on which Ross rifle? Some pictures would also be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Georg

Ross Rifle Sling from 1913 Ross Catalog

    All,

I have a couple of Ross Rifle catalogs, circa 1913, and one of them shows a sling available for the rifle. I saw this old post, and thought I might revive it with these 2 photos:

Here is an enlargement of the sling:

    Your thoughts?

Looks like made for the civilian market. Has anyone seen one like it on a military used Ross?
I would think the military would of used the type I show for both the Lee Enfield and Ross rifles? Ray
