I'm not Allen, but I'm very familiar with that area. I taught in the Grand Coulee Dam schools for 9 years from 1976-85. My kids still consider it to be "home". Passed through Omak and went skiing at Loup Loup a lot. Obviously, no help in current conditions, but always like to meet a "drysider".
I like to meet drysider's myself.
You may know of a friend of mine that now lives in Elmer City, His name is Howard Stewart and his children went to school in the Grand Coulee Dam area.
Howard, nicknamed "Doodle" was a game warden for the Colville Confederated Tribes for over twenty years. After that he became a municipal Court Judge and then advanced to the Superior Court level, and then to the Appellate Court level.
When, and if, I get moved back, we'll have to meeet and greet over some coffee.
I'm glad you announced yourself to me...!
