M1 Gunsmiths in Charlotte NC area?

I just got an M1icon for Christmas, and I am in love with it. Some bad things started manifesting themselves when I took it to shoot it with my little brother who was on a 96. When I cleaned it, there were wood shavings inside the receiver, and the op rod shows park wear on several sides. it does not pass the tilt test going forward. the bolt slides back fine, but gets hung up tilting it forward. It shoots ok, but I have a tingly sense in my head that something is wrong, and will only get worse with time.
Is there a good gunsmith that anyone can recommend locally?

M14/M1a specialist, but he's probably done one or two M1s.
