Opinions on trade (mauser - enfield bayonets)

    I have a wood grip K98icon Bayonet (S/176G - P.Weyersberg 1935) Scabbard (JWH 42 - Staatliche Waffenfabrik 1942) and frog that I'm considering floating out there for a trade.

I would like a correct bayonet for my LSA 1914 Enfield No 1 Mk 3

Does this seem like a reasonable trade? I know nothing of the value and or scarcity of said pieces...

    Thanks,
    Sean

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. These things seem to be very dependent on who made it and when, I don't know enough about them to say this is a good trade. You could watch ebay or gunbroker's auctions to get an idea perhaps.

Prices are not too far apart (note I didnt say value as the SMLE bayoent is more valuable to you than the 84/98 and the trader probably will fill the opposite - if not matching then the 84/98 is not overly valuable and a common 1907 is in the same range
