    Unaltered original 1st block M1A1's

How many do we know of that are around today from the 1st block, unaltered, non rebuilt, never molested? I have 1...how many others have one, or an estimate from CC data?

There is one in N.Z. I know exactly where it is, but due to circumstances at the moment, I do not have the money to buy it. The economic situation is starting to bite here. Mike.

I am positive mine was used in training, or more probably saw action...
In my opinion, the one shown by Chris, Brians several, Marcus's, mine in the 592,000 range, Hollywoods, ..are amongst the scarcest weapons in collections...I bet under 100 total

Chris, I saw the 2 tone, and I immediately thought SG, but the # is too low, so I thought it was 2 different...plus no SG upon a second look

    Chris,

That is an early serial number. What is the number after the wheel on the butt plate?
