Proper Transit chest for an Enfield no 8 Rifle?

My friend has asked me to modify a no 7 .22 cal rifle transit chest to fit his Enfield no 8 .22 cal target rifle. Does anyone know if there ever was a specially made transit chest for this rifle? I am thinking it belongs in the L 42 type transit chests?

Sure is one nice little rifle and the owner claims he can "remove" any squirrel he aims at. Thinking I will take it to the range asap.

Any help with the transit chest would be greatly appreciated.
