Arrow F.N. FAL Trials Bayonet (Joe Salter Site)

    F.N. FAL Trials Bayonet

    Price: US $295.00

This Belgian blade is in very good condition with light oxidation stains near point. The grips are very good with small scratches, dings, and nicks. Pommel is stamped "1166" and features the large hole release. This comes with correct scabbard with typical Canadianicon olive painted frog. The numbers on the Canadian trials pieces are typical of the 1166 on this piece. The Belgian issue numbers were usually smaller and stamped in line. This is one of the 2000 bayonets that came with the 1953 Canadian order from FN.

That is not the correct scabbard. They were used on the later FN bayonets, the one that came with it had a ball tip and long frog stud. Even the frog is later pattern.

My EX bayonet has the same numbering style as the one on Joe's site. Is the numbering style correct for the Canadianicon rifles?

This one has no number, but I have had one or two with numbers along the hilt.
Here is the correct scabbard that STENCOLLECTOR was talking about.Attachment 20186
