    New BSA Martini

I just bought this at an on-line auction. This may sound a little nuts, but I'm not sure which Martini I got. Here are the pics ( I know they aren't the greatest)

    Description advised:

S# FG2547H. Bbl. 28" heavy. Parker Hale target sights & barrel mounted scope blocks. Adjustable butt plate with 1/2" wooden spacer. 95% original blue with white corrosion on the barrel, forward of the rear scope lock. Original wood finish with numerous handling marks. Sound mechanics. Very good bore.

I've gotten varying opinions as to whether it is a MK III, a MK V or an ISU model

    Thanks for any help

Calfed newbie first reply you have a mk5 bsa didnt really mark i.d. as such the rifle known as mk4 was made to conform to I.S.U regulations for standard rifle competition, your rifle has heavier barrel and scope blocks so mk5 is what we called them. mk111 has differant forend hanger to freefloat barrel ....clean it use it treasure it you have areal gem mine has lyman 30x supertargetsport scope for100yrd matches I use mk4 prone
