Anyone recommend a scope mount for the 1903A3 Sporter version?

I've seen Redfield and Leupold for around $22 and S&K for $70. I have one hole at the front rounded end of the receiver and one at the rear flat part of the receiver. The Redfield has one hole on the front and one on the rear, but the Leupold has two holes on the front and one on the rear and the S&K has one on the front and none on the rear. Does that mean mine is set up for the Redfield or...? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it is drilled and tapped for the Redfield. Your best bet.

You should probably look for an old version of the Redfield Jr. mount. I've been told by one of the experts on this site that the new ones have a different hole spacing, and the milling is a bit off on the bottom. An alternate is the very good S&K mount for the 03A3. I've had one, and they work well.

The new production Redfield mounts are made in China and are total junk. Many gunsmiths have stated they will no longer touch them due to the vast amount of time that has to be spent to make them fit.
