    We need to know the factory markings on the reciever ring to be able to tell, different factories used different serial number blocks. If you can post a few photos I am sure someone here can help.

    If your 98k is anything like mine to shoot - maybe ask if they can do a two-for-one deal on a new shoulder whilst they are about it!
