i just picked up a 98mauser sn#3744 . any one know when it was made?any info, thanks,karl.

We need to know the factory markings on the reciever ring to be able to tell, different factories used different serial number blocks. If you can post a few photos I am sure someone here can help.

If your 98k is anything like mine to shoot - maybe ask if they can do a two-for-one deal on a new shoulder whilst they are about it!
