NCD! New Carbine Day, Lots of Pics

    Hi Everybody,
New Member here, and as my first post I get to show off my new (to me) M1A1icon Carbine. I picked it up this morning and checked it out. Everything checked out so I brought her to the range for some test shots (about 200) Shot beautifully at 25yd and decent at 50yd. I know this thing isn't a target gun, so I don't think my 50yd target wasn't bad. It's iron sights and folding stock after all.

A little more info about my M1A1 Carbine. From the photos it looks to be an original M1A1, but it isn't an Inland Dev. it's a NPM with Underwood Barrel Stamped 11-43. It does however have what I believe an Inland folding stock with a AAIO re-arsenal cartouche, P proof stamp, as well as the RI-3 stamped into the bottom of the grip. The hand guard has SH-B stamped on the underside. From the pictures you can see a Type III barrel band with bayonet lug, and a stamped rear sight. I tried to take pics of all the markings in view without breaking down the trigger group, but I may have missed one or two.

So, enough text, time for pictures!!!
