M1C Mount - Real Or Fake?

Long time reader first time poster! In my travels I picked up the below mount for an M1c. This mount appears to be for the Marine Corps version. I have a minimal investment in this item and will treat it as a reproduction until otherwise informed. Thanks for any comments!

Here is what a real one looks like. And from what I understand the mounts were always serialed to the rifle they came with.

Thanks to Mark, it can be easily seen that Boris' mount is for the (Marine) MC-1 sniper rifle with the Stith-Kolmorgen scope, and it appears to be the original blued finish.

It is not for the M1C/M82 sniper rifle.

Also, not all the original brackets or mounts were numbered to the receiver, although most of them were.

Thank you for the comments on the mount!! I knew the mount was the MC 1952 version, what has me skeptical in the knurling on the mount levers. The knurling does not match the pictures of the rifle in Scott Duffs most recent listing nor does it not appear the same as the one in Peter Senich's book USMC Scout-Sniper WW2 and Korea.

The stamping appears to be the same size and same font as the ones mention above but this mount and bracket are blued. Was the MC mounts blued or parkerized? My undertsanding is that the MC mounts were not numbered to the rifle. The original brackets installed during WW2 were numbered.

I purchased this set-up for under $300.00 because I have seen to many things in the past and went home to read-up on them and then gone back to find the item sold. If this is a counterfeit mount it is a very good one.

If this is a fake mount then it was worth the price to let our fellow members and the GCA know these fakes are out there. If by chance this is a real mount my chances are slim of finding the proper Kollmorgen scope to complete the set-up.

I will use this mount on my M1C until I can fine an original M1C mount for the M82 scope.
