A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. If you want weeks of reading, buy all the back issues. But be warned, it leads to buying more Carbines.

YES IT DOES!!! and still you want to learn more!
I have read them twice so when I open my mouth I stand a smaller chance of looking silly. As for just looking silly in general they didn't help

Issues 98 & 99 from 1985 cover SG, but they are brief - total of four pages and are based on six original guns. Not up to recent standards of excellence. If you have a question or two, I'd be happy to try to answer.
