M84 scope mount?

Any idea where this scope mount belongs to? Reminds me of the scope mount for the M84, but that's all:

The only marking on it is a M (or W) in a circle.

Well, it is a scope mount for the M84 scope that has been modified.

No idea for the application of the rifle. It could fit any one as the mount modification to the mount looks home made and they may have matched it to an existing rifle that was already drilled and tapped.

I saw that on eGun and scratched my head for awhile on it. I was tempted to bid on it but like you, I can't ID the original base rifle. Let us know if you find out.
