    Parker Hale Sight

I just purchased a Parker Hale Model 5A sight for my Lithgowicon No.1 and I'm wondering if anyone knows of mounting instructions that are available. It came with the necessary screws and a spring and my main question is with the spring. Does it go in the well associated with the safety shaft or the well associated with the mounting screw? Any help would be appreciated.

The coil spring is to replace the leaf spring on the safety lever so the safety will continue to function properly.

It definitely goes in the well where the safety shaft extends.

Thank you for your replies. I am amazed at the precise workmanship that went into the sight and I can't wait to get the Lithgowicon on the range today.
