I have this old sword and have always wondered where it came from and if it could be worth anything. I have tried researching it but can never get any information. If anyone has an idea to what I may have it would be greatly appreciated thanks!

It doesn't really look like anything. The scribing on the blade suggest to me a souvenir from some foreign place like the far east. The back end doesn't look like it would stand up to any abuse at all.
