Wolf springs

having lot of fun with my carbine,i though i buy a set of wolf service springs ,i used ther springs in other guns and all have worked fine. but i keep reading they dont work well in the m1 carbine,to long,bind. if so were is a good place to buy old new springs at a good price.

I have heard that orion7 is a good place for USGI springs

US Armory has them. Measure the Wolff spring, if too long, cut off to 10 1/14 in. Works fine in mine.

+1 on Orion 7 and or US Armory. Have bought springs from both before. No issues. I think they both have all the springs in a "kit" that is reasonable in price.

I'm fairly handy and usually can make things work. I wound up using exactly one spring the recoil spring. The others were just a bunch of commercial made springs that are a close match, none of the others would fit without modification. No instructions, just a $14 bag of springs that won't fit. Who says that we need stronger springs anyway? Carbine NPM, works perfect with just the new recoil spring.

Chestnut Ridge supply has new USGI mag springs (15s and 30s), too. If you have aftermarket 30 rounders, a GI spring helps.

Just to be a contrarian, I have used Wolfe springs in my carbines and carbine magazines with no problems at all. Go figure!
