    No. 4 T on Gunbroker

Indian No.4 Mk1 T on Gunbroker is over $1000 now. No scope or mount.

Rare No.4 Mk 1 "T" .303 Britishicon Sniper WWII : Curios and Relics at GunBroker.com

Century Arms was selling these for around $650 not to long ago. I bought two. Looks like my investment has about doubled.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. hey.. I could afford that .... put a repro mount and scope on and off to the range. Collect a proper scope at the 'right price' at a later time. I think I will have to keep my eyes out now. I am used to seeing them for ~$3000 +

I remember when you could buy these Indian T's from Springfield Sporters in Pennsylvania for $400.00!

I think it was cheap. Find a mount and scope even at today's prices and you still have a complete and reasonably priced T.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

What identifies this T as having Indian origin?

Is it the so-called Ishapore screw and/or what other markings?
