A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Just an update

The completion of the parts to make these bolt heads operable is nearing completion and not soon enough for my liking. The day I can send to those who wanted them for their rifles will be a relief. And all are going to members or those who are associated with this site.

My purpose to bring this thread forward and out of it's hibernation is I've had a few calls from interested parties who don't belong to this site. I've steered them to it and this will make it easier for them to find more info and see the pictures and hopefully they will become members of the MILSURPS family.

I have a Britishicon No.7 that I had a Canadianicon No. 7 bolt head modified to mate with the barrel breech. Cut down a No.4 bolt body and firing pin. Firing pin modified to a flat front to contact the bolt head firing pin. Head space adjusted by filing the locking lugs on the bolt body. Great single shot. Extraction has to be swift as the extractor will not hold the case and the empty falls into the empty 303 magazine.

How do i get on the list to purchase the reproduction parts set.

    sorry

Bob as I suspected I had not seen your post. By the time you posted I had gotten down in the dumps over the progress of this project, and did not look at this LE forum for long enough for this thread to roll off the first page. I moved on to 1911 forum so I could get down in the dumps about a different firearm

Just to update: 10 complete bolt heads are sold (yes that's it at least for now? )and are nearing completion so I'm told and I have decided to sell the remaining stripped bolt heads on this site first in the WTS forum as I believe there is still a need for those wanting to complete their rifles.

He has the plans to all the parts as he made them so that might be an option? And when the dust clears he might be talked into making another run as he did promise to make 20 sets.
