    IBM safety question

I am wondering if IBM safeties were marked on the end or in the middle. I cleaned grease, dirt etc. off of four safeties today that I thought were original. In Ruth's WarBaby book mention is made that they were side marked or unmarked.

I guess my question would be do these two safeties look real or did someone attempt to place marks there to increase value before I got them.

    Thanks
    Ray

    OOPS!

Sorry guys. Didn't mean to open up the entire photobucket album. How the heck did that happen. Never did that before.

They were marked in both places on original guns. I'm using my phone right now and the pics are to small to help you if they are real or not.

Your pics arent clear enough to say much, the font does look pretty close to what the reals look like. As mentioned, they were marked in both places.

    For comparison......
