    Irish Contract No.4

I hate being a broke student! I saw this as it was just posted and almost whipped out the Visa then and there, but I"m convincing myself there will always be another deal another day! Reading between the lines tells me it's an Irish contract rifle, probably degreased but still a hell of a deal.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Maybe folks are getting tired of paying the big bucks Lee Enfields. Other than being in new condition, I don't find the so-called "Irish Contract" rifles to be very interesting.

    Exclamation

Be careful with this one ....

I'd ask for pics and make sure it's truly one of the "out of the grease" ones that you must be thinking of....

It might indeed be one, but it could also have a lot of wear and tear mileage on it that makes the price just average.

Post pics here if you get them, or email them to me and I'll post them for you.

    Regards,
    Badger
