Having the little brass post poking back unprotected seems a good way to scratch the old eyeglass lens some more.




A good photo would help to fabricate a replacement.

Don't understand the request JM............... You just need to unscrew the shutter from the rear and file the existing shutter peg post down until it's just accessible to your fingernail. Or am I missing something?

Well, after all these years, I'd hate to mod it. Had it been done previously, it would have been fine!

Odd, but there it is. I reckon I'm just renting it anyway. Hopefully! Otherwise, "it done got ruin't" under my watch.

Top be honest JM, the shutter peg does look a little longer than normal. I haven't got one handy but recall that it was only a finger-nail or so proud. That's all it needs to be pulled shut or pushed open
