As the title says. My Turk Mauser is pretty damn long. What's longest?

Depends on how far back you want to go. The 3 longest I have: 1884 Trapdoor-52 1/8'', Westinghouse M1891 Mosin Nagant- 51 1/2'', Japaneseicon Type 38- 50 1/8'', all minus the bayonet. Shortest: Venezuelan 7mm carbine- 37 3/8''.

Possibly the M1866 Allen conversion. Same length as the 1863 rifled musket. (Which length I don't remember.) Or a Snider.

    The longest???

The longest I can offer is:

    BPCR - the Mauser M1871 at 53" precisely (i.e. to a 1/16")

    Smokeless - the Swissicon G96/11 at 51 5/8"

The Mauser M1918 anti-tank rifle was 66 1/8" long. The cartridge was 5 3/16" long. How long was the Boys?

    Patrick

The 1865 and 1666 Allen conversions ar 56" long. Which is pretty long for a shoulder fired (whilst standing)rifle.

What about the Polish Anti-tank rifle? It's pretty long, too. According to the "internets" it's 1760mm or 69 1/4".
