    M1903 Armorers Company Repair kit?

I'm looking for information on this armorers kit of tools for the M1903 rifle. I have a photo of the kit (see pic) from a display by John Spangler at the Utah gun show. Any information would be helpful such as manufacture of the tools in the kit or photos of the label, dimensions of the box itself. There is some info on in the Brophy book but I'm looking for info and or photos of the drifts, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers etc. If anyone knows were I could find one of the kits or any leads please send me a PM. Thanks in advance for your help. Robert

Is there a chance of a bigger picture? When you click on the current one, it is enlarged maybe double - not near enough to identify anything.

    Re: M1903 Company Repair Kit

I hope this works, this online photo is from a Utah gun show display from John Spangler. There is a list of what is suppose to be in the kit in the Brophy book. I was looking for close up photos of the tools from a original kit and maybe the manufactures name on some of the tools. I can see from this photo that the hammer and pliers do not look correct for this kit and there should be a wooden block in the kit. This kit is as hard to find as the M1910 arm repair chest. Thanks for your reply Rick.

At least one of the WW2 Standard Nomenclature lists the kit and its components. Some of the components are also depicted in photographs. Issue of the anvil (lower left corner) was disconcontinued during the war.

The tool with the wooden handle looks like it might be a safety tool. They have a steel, tapered sguare "point" used to help with safety installation by raising and holding the trapped detent spring and plunger. They are not rare and readily available as a single item on the auction sites.

Johns a great guy...glad he is still making some shows, nice kits.
the delux kit is the tough one, its about 3 times the size, comes with more special tools, and a bunch of spare parts.. iv seen the box for that one, but have yet to see one complete.
