two tone helmet net on M1 helmet

I have had these nets for a very long time and never noticed they were two tone green/black.
Could these have been manufactured in the UKicon during the war ? Anyone have any information ?

I have since heard that these two tone green and brown helmet nets are Canadianicon WW2 issue ? These two tone nets were also used on M1icon helmets issued to the 13 Cdn Inf Brigade before landing on Kiska Island during Aug 1943. Anyone have any additional information ?
