Exclamation The Royal Marines special returns ! (CGN Private Ad)

    Ad posted on CGN ....

Be careful with the second one. It's been floating around and trying to be flogged at the Orangeville gun show for at least a year, or at least its twin has been.

If you can't view the advertisement, it's probably due to the fact that you have to subscribe to the EE (Equipment Exchange) forums on CGN in order to view them, or the ad has been deleted.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. There's been a few of those sold on CGN. Milarm had a few a couple years ago.

    Very rare, you know.

Golden State Arms in the USAicon made those in the 60's and somehow the Royal Marines story got attached to them. Told a certain Edmonchuck dealer they were a phony but he said he got more for them that way. The name is omitted to protect the guilty. There was two models: one with the middle band moved back and a new slot cut with the forend piece just rounded off while another model had a stamped metal 'schnooble" nosecap for the rear handguard. Buy the rifle and NOT the story...
