Trouble Identifying a Calvary Sword...Another "What Do I Have?" Thread

I picked this sword up at an estate sale today and have tried to research the name on it with no success. I make it out as Henry BCKE, Solingren. Its in poor condition with a rusty / wavy blade, missing and damaged handle area but I thought it was neat. The marking in the last photo in on the tang but I can't make it out. Does anyone know the maker, what era it came from, ect. I'm not sure what I have here and any help would be appreciated. Thanks, chuckchili.

Try a tooth brush and oil on that second mark Chuck, then maybe we could see it.

During the American Civil War a large number of Germanicon made Model 1860 type light cavalry sabers were imported. That is what it appears you have.

    This is a U.S. made Model 1860.
