Oh my god! eBay, wo else!

And this for a clean but average TZ 47, (not museum quality as suggested)

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

By the way, does anyone have a no gunsmith scope mount for a P 14 they would sell? and or a set of those repro sniper mounts?

I'm afraid I have just betrayed the faith and bought my first non LE, an AGP P 14 with ball burnished etc, looking forward to a shoot. need a scope so I can see well enough.

I've got one in a bit better condition than that. It can be for sale for the same price ( worldwide S&H included)
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

After looking at those prices I will do a re - evaluation of my sight collection, I have a brand new TZ in the white, so if I ever get rid of it I'd better add a couple more hundred.

Nah - it's just a one-off. Sometimes things sell for weird prices on ebay but overall the price of them hasn't in general gone up that much. Of course that won't stop people now saying that ALL 4/47s are worth £350 - especially ones they're trying to sell.
I would point out that a nice one which included a more desirable ph 60 eyepiece and a trigger guard sling swivel sold for £78 a week ago.
So people in light of that might want to revise their collections' values downward

See Link below, ( highlight the Ex Military and click on prices) I bought one few years back for our club P14, need a bit of a file forto fit but works well,

Dont worry about the betrayal, I,ve got a few none Enfield Riflesicon, most recent was Swissicon K11, built like a swiss watch, excellent bit of kit for its age and price, but would say second to the Enfield has to be the M1903, have two of these a Springfield and very early RIA, (the springfield is for sale if anyone in the UKicon is looking for one, PM me)
