    Lebel Bayonet Markings

I was wondering whether anyone could help me out with the markings on the two Lebel bayonets.

The brass handled bayonet is serial numbered 6663, but the is no letter prefix indicating the maker. There is also an M.P. marking on the blade and what looks like a backward DB marking on the cross guard.

The black handled bayonet is serial numberred F22002. I believe the F indicates it was made at Manufacture Nationale d'Armes de Saint Étienne (MAS). The only other marking I can find on it is a 5 on the end of the handle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not anything to do with markings but if the shorter bayonet has a blade about 13-1/2" which it does look about that size. Then it's a Frenchicon Model 1915 that the Germanicon's altered in WWII for issue to their occupation troops and was called the Épée-Baïonnette Modèle 1886 Modifié 1915 called the Seitengewehr 103(f).
