    US Navy generator

    Hi Folks,
I'm new to the forum and hope you may be able to help my friend with info on a generator he has aquired. It appears to be new in the crate and came with a bunch of spares, gas can and other accessories. Its marked US Navy Mod EF-8, serial number 498 and was manufactored by the Atlas Aircraft Products Corp. I've hunted around on the net but wasn't able to find any info on this mod.
    Thanks,
    Steve
