Question How do I remove pistol grip L1A1 to replace with woodedn one.

Finally getting time to sort bits and bobs out. I need to change the pistol grip on L1A1 straight pull over to wood, I know lots of people have done this but can anyone give a total klutz step by step instructions.

    Thanks

    Steve

Remove trigger mech housing from body
Unscrew pistol grip screw, found below the hammer spring assembly using large screwdriver or allen key
Remove pistol grip by drawing it down and rotate forwards to release the front of the trigger guard.

Transfer bits to wooden pistol grip. Assemble grip assembly to body in the reverse order.
Screw up tight ensuring knib on retainer plate is engaged with corresponding slot,
Replace hammer spring assembly into countersink at rear and oval recess on hammer NOW COCK HAMMER.
Replace TMH to body and insert axis pin and bolt
Take to range and give it a good blasting down the range
