A century old, and still going strong!

My Swissicon G96-11 is numbered 3454xx, making it one of the last 5000 (1912) of that that type, probably made very early in 1912. So this is a 100th birthday target from "Heidi". (Sorry, getting cutesy again)

The very first shot (in fact, my first shot after a break of 7 weeks!) wiped out the figure 8 at 12 o'clock. After that, I held a little lower, to allow a clear white stripe between black and foresight blade, and everything else was in the 9 or 10.

Happy Birthday Heidi - you're doing well for a centenarian!

I think that shows there may be something to be said about the guy behind the G96-11. Nice shooting Patrick!

Happy to get some range time Patrick?

That target certainly seems like a morale booster.

You bet! Thanks to the shoulder trouble I'm about 50% down on my lead recyling quota for this year. And on Monday the surgeons are going to indulge in further practice on my person... So there will be another(but shorter) communications break from my end.

Have to agree with Harlan! Heidi seems to be a good rifle in good shooters hands, Patrick!
