    From a vets collection that my friend will put on Ebay after Thanksgiving, what do you think?

    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.     Looks like it has had the scabbard mistreated over time.
    Also has a Luftwaffe hanger on it.

    Sarge, what do you mean luf hanger? Are you talking the stringy thing or cords or the luf eagle on the dagger? I'm new to this particular dagger.

    Or the cord with the ball on the end?

    Doesn't the Luftwaffe hanger have rectangular buckles? Looks like Army with the oval buckles.
