    Question No Italian Stream?

I guess I must be a bit slow, I've only just realised after reading the bubba'd carcarno post, that there is no Italianicon Firearms thread on this forum.
    Is there a reason?

Not a huge following, I guess. There's several good threads in the general discussion forum and the ammunition forum. Almost all of the collector grade Carcanos available are of WWII vintage. Earlier ones in good nick don't turn up often.

In the MKLicon, there's a section for Italyicon ...

Thanks Badger, These are just my 6.5's

that only covers a fraction of the models, variations and manufacturers, it's a bit like limiting the Enfield forum to MLE only.

If you want to write up entries complete with photo montages for publication in the Italyicon MKLicon, I'd be happy to publish them for you ...

    Doug

You're also more than welcome to post threads regarding Italianicon arms in the Milsurps General Discussion Forum.

Discussion is not being limited just because there is no separate Italian forum.

Thanks Badger and Stevo, I don't really know enough about them myself, but follow a link on another forum and it was the double posting of a thread that made me realise a dedicated stream didn't exist.
There is a very mixed and interesting spread of Italianicon firearms and my interest stems from my families involvement in the desert campaigns against these type weapons.
As my firearms collection is more a representative one of all the Nations involved in the major conflicts, I have a broad spectrum of interest and any information on any firearm in my collection, helps to put it in a more comprehensive and informative position when viewed by others.
