A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I bet you wouldn't need to leave it in your parkerizing tank long for it to take color, Chuck.

I looked around a bit on the videos and hoped there was one that showed something about how he makes them, but couldn't find anything. The finished 1911 really was amazing though.

i found some more as he made it, and did a function check, i think he,s using a polymer epoxy as well, i also found some other guns made with paper and cardboard that were pretty impressive,
the patiance and skill is pretty awesome.
many years ago, i bid on a small collection of guns in a estate, one of the young men, that were selling the guns showed me some tramp art..his older brother was in prison, and sold miniture motorcycles , choppers, ect, made with toilet paper and floor wax mixed up, i couldnt tell , it looked just like metal and plastic....
a guy used to sell scale steel models of rifles and pistols, working bolts, levers ect, some of the best iv ever seen...i love seeing craftsmanship...this young man has some skills no less.

Sure beats John Dillinger's craftsmanship. However, Dillinger did show good taste in carving "Colt 38" on one side and a 1934 patent date on the other

Anonymous Works: John Dillinger's Wooden Gun

This kid's work on the paper Colt .45 would make an excellent show & tell for school! Well, on second thought, maybe not.
