    Opinions please

Can some of you more in the know guys tell me a little bit about these rifles? These first two are my latest buys. The last ditch is matching with no mum. I paid $130.00 for it. The other is an earlier 99 I just got yesterday for $140.00. It is non-matching, mum intact and cleaning rod. The bores on both are perfect. I would like to know what series and arsenal they are. TIA

These pictures are actually an excellent example of the cut-backs and changes made in the last ditch rifles.

For that, we need close-ups of the numbering on the left side of the received, with a clear view of the marks before (series chacter) and after (arsenal symbol) the number. The series code character can be very difficult to identify if it is worn.

Patrick, I will post better (macro) pictures later today. In the other post there are three other rifles with close up shots of the numbers and symbols. Thanks
