    7.7 ammo box translation?

Can Anybody translate what this box of ammo says? Received it with a 99 that I just purchased. I see similar boxes in a few books, but none that match exactly.
    Thank you,

Light blue touch paper and retire immediately?

Seiously, the first two characters that look vaguely like the Greek pi are 99, so you're off to a good start. As for the rest...

Yippee! Finally someone who can work it all out!
Now I can give my eyes a rest - I need a magnifying glass to look at Kanji characters!

Here is what a box of T99 standard ammo pack looks like. Some of the characters are the same as on your box.

Well I hope Accurifle can come up with the full translation for this. Those Kanjis are real eyeball-busters. I don't get much further than the fairly obvious partial info that it's a 15-pound pack of Type 99 ammo.

    Hello! Here is Accurifle.
    This says:

Type 99 Light Machine Gun Ammunition
    Type 99 Normal Live Ammo
    Fifteen rounds

Some of these Kanji characters used are a bit old and sometimes hard to read. When it happens, please excuse me.

    Thanks Accurifle!
No need for excuses, I think we're all glad to have someone around who can crack these things!
