My Saginaw S'G' - photo essay

I'm new here, but I'd like to post "photo" intensive post about my Saginaw S'G'. Its always fun to search the web to compare what other rifles have in common with your own, especially if they are close in serial #. So hopefully someone can find some enjoyment/reference material from this.
I picked this rifle up about 3 months ago. It is as received except the stock and swivel are USGI replacements. All parts are "correct" minus a Quality Hardware hammer.
I find it interesting how many flaming bombs are stamped on the rifle, and the amount of IP parts present.
    On to the photos:

Stock has been sanded. High wood. S'G' in Box with ord. wheel

    PM-IP marked buttplate

    1,839,XXX serial

    IP-W marked recoil plate

Left side of receiver and flip sight

Left side of receiver. Note "W" marking

Right side of receiver. Flip sight marked B-S'G'. Note flaming bomb.

Bottom of barrel. Note ord. wheel

Note flaming bomb on gas piston assembly

Front sight marked "2" on left side and "N" on top

Buffalo Arms Barrel marked "8-1943" flaming bomb underneath

    Slide Marked S'G'

Note slide has double stamping of flaming bombs

    Blued bolt marked S'G'

    trigger housing marked S'G'.

Push safety marked IP-A, note flaming bomb above mag catch.

    Mag catch marked IP-W

Quality Hardware straight hammer marked LT-Q

Type 1A barrel band. Swivel marked KV-S'G'. Barrel band has two weld marks.

Nice pictures! I've got one similar 1,829,xxx and it has a different mix of parts. Mine's got a W-S'G' recoil plate and an unmarked safety. My sight base is IP-B, but the rest looks very much the same except it has a few less "bombs" on it. Maybe after (2) tries for getting the bomb on the operating slide arm and missing, the guy just gave up. You didn't mention the trigger or sear. I'm guessing S'G' and W-S'G' on those. Too bad the hammer is gone. Thanks! - Bob
