    Enfield bore viewer

Just a question, can somebody point me in the right direction. I am looking for an Enfield bore viewer like this:

    Or this

Would prefer the one in the first picture. Any idea of what I can reasonably expect to pay?

    Thanks

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. There are a lot of sources, including eBay, but try Collector's Source (Milton, Ontario)

He's showing the one in the thumbnail pic at $45 Cdn.

He always has a lot of stuff that's not listed, so you may want to call Fred and ask him about it.

    Regards,
    Badger

Brass with small mirror. Made in two patterns. One has handle with loop on end to view bore of machine gun. Other has no handle/loop and is meant for rifle use. These are in VG condition with mirrors intact.

What era are the bore viewers from? Were they issue kit or for rear echelons?
