    Houston gun collectors show

Went to this show yesterday, lots of carbines. Some faked, others extrememly high priced. Mixmasters starting at $750.00, but most around $1,000.00 and beat up. 2 Irwin Pederson post-war rebuilds one was $3600.00 the other $5000.00. On a general scale of Gun Show prices in this area, they have gone up $300.00 in the last 2 years. Is this gonna be a trend?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Hi Rusty, thanks for the report. That's what we're seeing here in Wisconsin, although the sellers are always saying "make me an offer".
I do better catching someone walking around with a gun for sale.
Did the I.P.'s get any offers? Keep an eye on G.B. there have been some good deals on there lately.

    Regards.....Frank

    Frank,

When asked if that was their best price, they said yep, now that the CMPicon doesnt have any more. I doubt anyone even made an offer on the IP's. The one for 5 grand wasnt too bad, it was a restoration, and the barrel band and flip sight appeared to be real. The other for $3600.00 looked to be nothing more than a rebuild.
