    Brush cleaning

    Hi everybody.
I got as a present an envelope with 10 cleaning brushes by The Fuller Brush Co.
The exact name of the product is : Brush Cleaning cal. 30 M2
    Drawing No. C-4035 Rev. 13 11-23-43
    Code No. B21-5504035
    SNL Group No. B-21
    Procured for U.S. Rifle Cal. 30 M1
    Date Jun 13 1945

My question is : is this set intended for the M1 Garand or for the M1 Carbine instead ?
    Thank you.

This is marked for the rifle. That would be the long soft (scarce) brush???

    Thank you, browningautorifle.
In the meanwhile I had investigated and found that cal. 30 M2 is a 30-06 caliber so for sure for M1 Garand.
For sure I will not open the envelope since it is aged Jun 1945 !

Since they're the Fuller shoe brush co, I think they're the long soft dusting brush for the M1. You should tell by feel, they're long and flat. Not round like bore brushes.

Just touching the closed envelope, every brush should be long 3.35" including its threaded part.
The only part with brush is 2.56"
Just pressing with fingers the brush seems to be round and hard and not soft and flat.
