Got my scope mounted -

I suppose I ought to mention that I have already fired the rifle with the current setup on it. Just to get the scope somewhat centered - With the proper eye relief to be able to see through the scope it would be very difficult to hit oneself -

I will try it moved just to see how it functions though - Thanks for the concerns!

Mmmmmmmmmmm! I'd like to see a picture of that. I'm no expert on telescoped No4's but it looks to me like it'd be very difficult NOT to hit oneself in the eye brow. Having done it a couple of times, it normally hits just where the bridge of the nose meets the eye socket. Look out for it!

Isn't it AMAZING that the no32 scope was designed for the BREN machine gun? Only in England could that happen. I'm going back and fourth between installing a cheek piece myself. Not to make it something it's not. But they function well. Anyone make an Australian cheek piece? They look different. Mine is a no1 mk3*

I would also like a sling swivel trigger guard screw. Can't find one.

That won't do HoH, the thread is different on the No1 front trigger guard screw.

It was being designed for the Bren that made the No32 such a tough and reliable beast. There aren't many telescopes that could be parachute container dropped or rolled around in the back of a Bedford for many miles.

Here it is moved forward. The only issue with it being placed here is that working the action puts the cocking piece dang near my nose on the full rearward motion. The cheekpiece may negate that - I ordered one and will see when it comes in and gets mounted -

Ah Peter - nothing would give me more pleasure than to spend some time with you folks in England. A lot of history there. It didn't hit my eyebrow though. The old Weavers had only one spot you could put your eye in relation to the scope to be able to see through it clearly with the full field of vision. And it is a ways from getting wacked!

No worries though Mate - if I do get wacked I'll take a picture and post it - then you can give me a well deserved "I tolld you so." Until then you'll have to take my word for it.
