    Finnish Mosin Nagant.

This is one of the nicest examples of a Finnishicon Mosin Nagant I've seen in a while..built on an Izhevsk receiver dated 1900. Very solid feeling rifle.

Thanks! It's probably the nicest M91's I've owned. Also built on the earliest dated receiver I've ever owned. Also managed to find a leather SA marked sling today. Just need a cleaning rod now.

My first Milsurp purchase was a 1891 Finn.1940 Tikka. Have only encountered one 91/30 it followed me home as well. M39 is next if I can find one. Have you slugged the barrel to determine the diameter?

Not yet. Going to do that this weekend before taking it to the range. That's a very nice looking rifle you have!

I did not know wat a Mosin Nagant was when I bought it,let alone a Finnishicon Mosin Nagant. Purchased it from a co worker and began researching the markings on the internet. I have always owned firearms but now I can combine my intrest in firearms and history. I soon fount this site and the helpful folks here and was addicted.

Yep, I know what you mean. Along with being a firearm enthusiast, Im also a history junkie. Particularly military history. What two better things to go together?

Now if I can convince DishNetwork to offer the Military channel without having to purchase every other %(*&%$## channel I can sit at my workbench and enjoy my Milsurps while watching documentaries my life will be complete.
