    Am I missing something here

Lee Enfield SMLE 1918 303 Britishicon *.01 Start* : Bolt Action Rifles at GunBroker.com

Appears to be a varnish non matching run of the mill No.1 MK3* with rear handguard ears broken off - $500+ ??????

---------- Post added at 08:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:49 PM ----------

Update - Actually I checked his other auctions. he has one other LE related item for sale a NO,.4 Mk2 which looks quite nice. However on both auctions, if you check the bid history you will see that the same, non rated bidder has bid about 8 or 10 times on both of his auctions before anyone else started (Saudiaggie). No accusations, it just looks a wee bit funny - I'm just sayin'...

And it looks as though they couldn't even be bothered to take the thing apart before they varnished it.
