M1D Springfield with Danish Scope

How did you get an M1D with a scope, even incorrectly described as a repo, for $300?
Even Breda Garands, beat up wood, are going for $750 and up.
Then you factor in an M1D barrel and a scope. The some of the parts alone would put it close to 2k.

I remember now.. the Danish M1D were imported with out receiver. They had been removed under law. The parts were complete with 555 SA barrel with mount, trigger group, bolt, gas parts, etc. wood and 84 scope. I acquired a Danish receiver made by Breda and built my rifle. Still have it. Gary
