    Ross Rifle Catalogs, Circa 1913

    All,

I haven't seen much posted here in the way of paper items, and if anyone here knows me from other forums or book contributions, you know that I think paper items, such as manuals and catalogs are the key to learning the history of the firearms we collect. In that vein, I have a couple of Ross Rifle catalogs that I've decided to post here for comment. One thing I'd like to know is if these catalogs appear in the book, "The Ross Rifle Story," which I do not have in my collection. Has anyone seen these 2 catalogs before?

If there's interest, I will post more of the content of the catalogs. I will say these catalogs directed their advertising focus on hunting use, and not military use of the rifle.
