A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Well the auction is over , I won 1 of 3 bids I put in ,I'm now the proud owner of a 1908 Mannlicher Schoenauer ,Might get to see it this week if I'm lucky. Only 1 thing I'm not sure about is the caliber ,in the auction it's described as a 9 x 56 but everything I've read so far tells me it should be an 8 x 56 ,we'll see when it arrives .

    cheers
    Pete
