    Swiss Cleaning Kit

I got a Swissicon cleaning kit supposed to be for a K31 and instead of the olive drab/khaki color it is blue. The stuff inside all looks good, two cans of "grease", the little mirror, the hockey stick shaped thing with wire mesh on the long leg and a rope pull through. All of it has the little Swiss cross stamped into it but the blue "bag" has no markings I can find, may be too dark. Any idea on what time frame this would be from? Bag is made from what I would best describe as heavy cotton and has a button that a loop fits over to keep it closed. It looks like the others I've seen except for the dark blue color.

Is it a Sig 57 cleaning kit? Plenty of them about.

Have you read Tac Foley's post in What to look for on a K31icon. He has assisted me many times in another place. ( Plus he scrounged all of my spare SLR magazines, but I won't moan, much).

No, it's for the K31icon or maybe the 1911. It doesn't have all those gadgets that are in the Sig 57 kit.

And yes, I have read that post. He doesn't cover the cleaning kits in it though.

This one has the two cans of yellow grease, 3/4's full. I did think about smearing some of it on but haven't yet.

Swissicon rifles shows pictures of three. An olive drab, a Khaki and a light green one. No navy blue. Contents are the same. Probably just used whatever fabric color that was "military"
