A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... My most recent acquisition a nice Webley Mark VI made in 1915. I actually started (paid for) the deal on this one last year but it took the seller and I a while to finalize the deal.

And for fun a family photo. What is it with Enfield revolver Lanyard Rings? Anybody have a few spares laying around they don’t need? How about an unaltered front sight for a No.2Mk.1?

Here are a composite shot of August and September's acquisitions (to date):

    From top to bottom:
    Yugoicon M59
    1943 Dispersal MkIII*
    1934 Ishapore MkIII
    1942 Lanchester Mk1
    1961 POFicon No.4Mk2

    Also a 1920 P1907 RFI bayonet, two 50 round Lanchester mags and a 1961 POF No.9 bayonet.

Not shown is a Faz Sten MkII kit which is dedicated to another semi-sten build in progress.

Nope, I managed to get one at the same auction I got the gun at. I have seen Cdn issued ones around, and am not certain the one I have is Cdn (serial number stamped on bayonet is not right....no 0B in front of the 4 digit number).

The bayonet is shown on the rifle in the second photo, although the lighting does not make it stand out.
