    flush nut lockbar

yesterday I was carring a springfield m1 for a VFW function and noticed that it had a lockbar sight and what I think is a flush nut on the left side , I know it had two triangles on it. Could someone tell me what serial range they were made for. thank you

The flush nut was replaced by the lock bar. They are on the same side. Windage. Right. The other side is the elevation.
